Fantastic Long Weekend

It was so nice to finally have a long weekend for myself, despite the fact that I was out and about or the majority of it. In point form:
- Walked from my place at Yonge and Eglinton to Queen and Yonge for brunch on Christmas Day.
- Lined up early at Future Shop and got a Digital SLR on Boxing Day! I really can’t wait to get out there and use it.
- Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert with jamyorke and her family. Man, they are awesome.
- Boxing Day brunch with kho, drosart, klarose, and many others. This has become a great tradition.
- Hot pot in Chinatown on Boxing Day.
- Very late brunch downtown with eswong, sllaw, and many others as well on Saturday.
- Walked around downtown for a bit, and checked out the UFC fight with Steve Y. at the Boston Pizza.
- Picked up lots of games, DVDs and entertainment that will hopefully last me through the new year. Go consumerism!
I was home late both days, but man, I haven’t felt so alive in so long.
It’s so nice to have days like these. Maybe next weekend will be the same.
